Hurricane Irene
Dear Family,
I have been watching the weather and considering both the Feed My Starving Children project and Sunday worship. It seems like we can continue planning on helping out with FMSC on Saturday. So for all those signed up to serve I will see you there at 1:45pm or at 16 Fern St. @ 1pm.
Because of the way the storm is tracking and the significant safety threat it posses for those out in the storm it seems wise to cancel Sunday morning corporate worship this week. Since we are not worshiping I encourage you to spend time in the Word, in prayer, and when you eat a meal do it in remembrance of Christ. Remember that he is the bread and wine that truly satisfies. I especially encourage you to meditate on Ephesians 6 as we wrap up this wonderful book.
If you were planning on giving as part of worship this Sunday there are some ways you can continue to do so here.
Be safe and I will pray for each one of you this weekend.
